August 7, 201114 yr The Introduction Manual suggests disabling the pilot head motion, but doesn't say how to do it. Anyone else "sliding in your seat"? Curt Branch
August 7, 201114 yr I am not sure if this is the correct way to disable it, however here is the way that I do it... In the FSX.CFG file, look for the following entries: [DynamicHeadMovement]HeadMoveTimeConstant=1.000000LonAccelOnHeadLon=-0.020000LonAccelOnHeadPitch=-0.010000MaxHeadAngle=5.000000MaxHeadOffset=0.300000RollAccelOnHeadLat=0.010000RollAccelOnHeadRoll=0.100000YawAccelOnHeadLat=-0.100000 I change them to the following: [DynamicHeadMovement]HeadMoveTimeConstant=0.000000LonAccelOnHeadLon=-0.000000LonAccelOnHeadPitch=-0.000000MaxHeadAngle=0.000000MaxHeadOffset=0.000000RollAccelOnHeadLat=0.000000RollAccelOnHeadRoll=0.000000YawAccelOnHeadLat=-0.000000 <---------------> Mike Murawski
August 8, 201114 yr Hi Curt, on my Win7 64-bit system, there is a 'Cameras.cfg' file in c:\users\your_user_name\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX. Look for line 'MomentumEffect = Yes' and change it to 'MomentumEffect = No' That did the trick for me. PJ,
