Low FPS

Featured Replies

First of all wow PMDG!!!You made a king of the virtual skies! I just am a bit surprised at the FPS hit. I am flying the 747X with ok results, and I do have a good computer(albeit weak 3D card). I sat at the gate at FlyTampa FSX, with about 9-10 fps, which is lower than at crowded Heathrow by UK2000 in the 747X.Then I went to Vienna also from flytampa(always had good results here), and the fps were ok but not solid around 15-23, but then I went to night and after switching the dome lighting on and off twice I hit 8,8 fpsblink.png I do not blame you, but I think I have a problem some how, because of the other reports I've heard from users. Any pointers appreciated. NOTE: I have all the fixes installed no skeleton or anything else, just looow fps.

I have the same problem and I have a smiliar system with 480 GTX and I'm getting same results and it's not acceptable. PMDG needs to comment on this or at least make us know that they're looking into this issue.

It seems like there is an issue, but I do not blame PMDG, after all there are about a billion different setups for PC's across the globe. But it would be nice to get some advice. Have you tried to re-install the NGX Evan?

15 fps in fsx is still flyable actully you dont need more but if you do have 30 its also great.(windshear 15 fps i fsx er altså nok til den er flyvebar.men prøv at forhør dig på simulators.dk

Blame FSX guys, your system settings or possibly corrupt cfg files etc! Other users with similar systems are reporting decent frame rates so it can't be PMDG otherwise we would all see it across the board. They supply the product, but with the million and one different variables in different peoples machines it's hard to keep everyone happy!

i had no problems.of course some airports are more heavy than others in fsx men yes this is NOT a pmdg, fault actully the have optimized it brilliant.fsx itself is the really problem its been buildt on a bad program engine, thats not pmdg or ifly,or others fault.if you look at others games the run brilliant om todays pc,swe shoul praise pmdg then have really done their job well.(men=but) sorry not all in here understand danish biggrin.png
