  1. I agree the reason, the reason I bought it so mainly for support, but if by the end of xp10 if it stills buggy as hell and major feather don't work as it suppose to, then that would be the first and last xp product for me.
  2. Yes, do nothing. Yaw to the left and that's without any present wind, I tried to set weather to zero. I'm a pilot very close of having my instrument rating, I have 100+ hrs in GA airplanes, Including C-172, Piper, SR-22... etc and the way xp10 behaves on the ground is way off with many things, way too sensitive with brakes, left yaw...sometimes unnecessary bank to the right and left in mid air without a lots of cross wind. As of now so far the sim is useless for me, as main things are not simulated correctly. Still needs a lots of work.
  3. Hi all, I downloaded the latest update, I'm trying to use xp10 at the moment but every time time I run it, I just can't fly. I've tried a few single GA airplanes and some has a problem as far as I load the airplane I don't touch anything and the airplane just banks to the left and keep turning 360 and backing up slowly, I've checked the throttle and it was all the way idle, I've calibrated my setup and still having this issue. Columbia 400 was one of them, also sometimes I get this kinda shaky view in the cockpit as if earthquake is happening when I load some airplanes. I'm trying to like Xp10 but for now I will stick with my FSX. I have PFC yoke, and pedals, Goflight TQ6 and MCP Pro and some saitek panels as well.
  4. no compared to XP and Win7, I recently installed vista 64 ultimate on a different machine and yes it's much better than win7. Don't forget that FSX was around vista and all of the latest software updates were updated to work fine on vista. I will at some point format and install vista again. Evan B.
  5. Windows Vista 64 ultimate was the best I've used so far for FSX, no crashes on exit very stable and I've had more FPS compared to win7.
  6. so they add more bugs to new update instead of removing some, if something ain't broken don't fixed it.
  7. This issue seems to worse with a newer hardware, I've had my older system i7 920 with 480GTX and I don't remember having this problem as of now with i7 3570 and 680GTX.
  8. This is Ben respond " it's a design limitation of the zoom function. I have _not_ seen this when not zoomed in. You're seeing the sim run out of Z precision on zoom. But you video don't seem to be zoomed in. You need to file a bug report, otherwise it will not get fixed. I stopped flying xp10 because of this annoying flickering. Evan. http://dev.x-plane.com/support/bugreport.html Bug report link
  9. 747-4 & 8 - 777, I will get the DC-6 for support don't think I will fly it a lot but who knows. Evan Banalian.
  10. I'm waiting to see what will Ben say about it, It's definitely there regardless of what hardware or settings been used. Evan.
  11. Hi Ryan, I']\\\\\ Hi Rayn, I'm wondering if you are talking about eye candy only ? will the new 747 have anything different as far as systems, new stuff that might be simulated... in other words will it fly any different or better than the current one ? Thanks again. Evan Banalian.
  12. Here another video this time taken on PC, with much worse effect. I don't think this is acceptable.
  13. I already did send a bug report. I remember reading on the blog by Ben that they had to rewrite the code for some rendering issues, including HDR, However before 1.05RC never noticed this issue so it could be my setup or software hardware related issue. Evan B.
  14. I've tried a different shadows settings but didn't help. Also This video is taken on mac pro without any overclocking. The problem with x plane code I believe. I wonder who else is having this problem. My video card is not overclocked only my cpu. Thanks.
  15. Hi Goran, I will post a picture with my settings, but I've tried all settings, I lowered the settings and I've tried a different rendering settings with HDR on and off but nothing seems to help. This video is taken on my mac pro, on my pc it seems a little worse.
  16. Hello all,I stopped flying x plane 10 because of this flickering textures problem, very annoying when you zoom in at homes and other texture you get this black flickering texture, No matter what settings it's still there. I've tried it on my pc and Mac pro and it dose the same. I wonder if you guys have the same issue. This is really need to be fixed. Evan Banalian. PC specs i5 Ivy 3570 OC 4.5 8 GB DDRAM3 at 2400mhz. 680GTX Mac Pro specs 12 Core 16 gigs or ram ATI 5870.
  17. Anything with Nvidia video Card will run better, higher , smoother FPS. Evan B.
  18. It might run ok if you lower you settings, FSX needs higher CPU clock to run smooth. Evan B.
  19. Thanks Zach, I know FSX has limitations , but if it's very close to the real 737 numbers, then that shouldn't be a problem. Evan Banalian.
  20. so is it ok to have descent idle as high as 40% ? I've seen some youtube real 737-800 desect idle and it was around 30-32 but not close to 40%. Thanks Evan Banalian.
  21. Hi everyone, I have the NGX since day one and absolutely love it. I also have a very good respected 737 addon that I've got before the release of the NGX, and happened today to do some flying with it and compared it to my NGX at the same place, condition, weather, altitude..etc and found out that NGX descent Idle was about 39-37% vs 27% on my other add on. something is not right, the difference can't be that big. Any ideas, I'm also sorry if this topic been discussed before. Evan Banalian.
  22. I thought V10.10 will automatically send crash log to laminar ? Thanks
  23. I have installed x plane 10.10 6B, before that i had 10.05R. Now the sim is less stable had crashes, mainly blue screen. don't know if it's my overclocking or the new update but never had these before. Also HDR has a lot of flickering all over the place much worse than having it off. That was never the case before with 10.05. Also turning some details up not to the max thought, kills my fps like roads and cars .... from 60-45 down to 7-12fps. with a very high end system. I don't know if this stuff will get fixed or not... but it seems like we are going backwards. I know it's early in beta, but I expect some improvements. My system specs ivy B overclocked at 4.7 + nvidia 680 GTX 2GB + 8 GB DDRAM3 at 2400mhz. Evan B.
  24. Hi Ryan, Thanks for your detailed information, Yes it's all about metering and Exposure vs Human Eye vision. I'm a photographer so I totally understand and I agree with what you said. I hope other understand as well but you know you can't please everyone. Thanks Evan Banalian.
  25. Thanks Ben, definitely I will follow up with Word Not Allowed's guide once I finish tweaking some settings. I'm glad I didn't buy the 3770K since we all need to disable HT. Thanks
