August 8, 201114 yr Only trouble I have is inputting into FMC, which apparently doesn't lock the keys for itself, unlike EZCA.My wish would be that when I press TAB or the green line is activated, EZCA keys are taken by FMC and not going to EZCA. It's nothing more troubling than trying to type in waypoints and my views start changing and all...
August 8, 201114 yr I agree fully. I tried to use the TAB but gave up when the view jumped all over the place. Helge Rasmussen
August 8, 201114 yr Yeah, that is very annoying for me, with EZdok still recognizing the A or S key even though the FMC is supposed to be in control. I just end up pressing the keys with the mouse on the FMC for alpha entries, but at least numbers are safe to use. A.J. Domingo

You never use numbers? If I start limiting myself like that, I easily end up using no keyboard at all.Probably the best thing would be a controller with additional buttons for EZCA.Or PMDG upading the FMC green line to take over, if anyhow possible.

It was just a suggestion to use something other than a letter or number. Yes, I rarely use any alpha or numeric key strokes, in fact I have deleted the majority of the key strokes in FSX so that I dont have any issues pressing a wrong key when using EZdok, PMDG products, ENB, or any other addon that has its own set of keyboard commands. Most stuff that I need on a regular basis I assign to my controllers and the rest I usually just use the mouse to click on the in the VC. My FSX assignment are also almost totally custom. But I thought of a way of assigning in VC (since I don't own TIR) all panels to numbers. I can access very simply with numbers 1,2,3...0 all my main panels that are needed inflight. And that is very fast. Faster even than 2D. And way better looking. And that makes FMC use with numbers a bad idea if I don't want to start switching views like crazy.
