Yes. Mac OS X runs natively in 64bit mode. My iMac is a prime 2008 model. Native 64bit mode came later with the Snow Leopard edition of Mac OS X. However, I cannot install a 64bit Windows on this model. There is most likely a very technical hardware reason for this. Bootcamp won't let me install it. You can on newer models, however.

Maybe a better question is: If I buy this, and it does not work on my system (or I am dissatisfied for other reasons) , will PMDG refund my purchase. ? I suspect they could if they choose to, as I would be most surprised if the registration system in use by PMDG, could not suspend/terminate your license, I have not seen (looked for) PMDG's return policy, but that may be an option for you. Of course, a 2 or 4 weeks TRIAL, before purchase/registration was required would have be even better for you, and many others. Two different marketing methods. (1) Let the customer try the product, find out for themselevs that they like and, and then go on to buy it.(2) Tell the cusomer they will like it if they buy it, and let the customer find out after they have paid for it, if they really do like it. Not being a marketing expert, I have to wonder which works best in the FS Addon market.As a customer, I know which one I would find more attractive. Geoff

Obviously, I want to buy this product and fly right away. I was writing this in hope of someone saying that they are running it on a similar or lower specced rig, and whether this is doable at all. I think GraemeBr answered my question. I have no problem with this plane not being the graphical beauty it can be as long as I can fly it without too much stuttering going on. I can always get the beautiful graphics when I upgrade to a new iMac (hopefully this January). With a studying girlfriend, two children, a house, and a car economics do play a part in my priorities, hehe :) Thanks a lot for your help, guys. It's much appreciated :)
