Guys- First of all, this is and will be the all time favourite airplane in FS history, well untill you top it with the 777 of course! :)Anyways, some trouble with the autotuning of VOR1 and VOR2, flying over middle Europe I can see in the FMS that it selects the closest stations, and even tough I have set both knobs to show VOR1 and 2 in ND it stays blanked and in no connection with anything? If i select VOR1 frequency to a closeby VOR I get the DME and radial in the ND - any tips?

The real thing doesn't have autotuning of VOR frequencies, so I'm not surprised that it doesn't work in the NGX either.Pilots have to manually tune the appropriate frequencies.

The manual supplied by PMDG, which is based on Boeing's own, refers to auto tuning of VORs. Other info on the web about the NG also refers to auto tuning of VORs. Pilots have to manually tune ILS frequencies for sure, but the FCOM indicates the FMS can tune VOR frequencies. Look at the sample pictures of the NAV STATUS page in FCOM Vol 2, they show the VOR tuning mode can be M, P or A (A for Auto). Kevin Hall

I wonder why didn't PMDG model the auto tune possibility. It's pain in my &@($* to tune them manually in long routes... As the real planes has it too.
