August 10, 201114 yr Hi folks,is there any option to get the NGX working together with Active Sky Evolutions Direct Wind Control? With that option enabled, the autopilot flies like it's drunken, often with an bank angle alert.I like the DWC, the frames are not stocking, the sky is not flickering and the clouds won't pop up, but the NGX is not flyable. I've tested the old standard mode today and got no problems with the autopilot, but the old problems of ASE.cheers, reinergu kind regards, Guenter
August 10, 201114 yr Moderator Best thing to do is get FPUIPC and use the wind smoothing.Do a quick search and you will see many topics on this along with suggested settings. In fact someone asked the same thing about an hour ago. Also you can get more info on the AS forum here on Avsim. In the mean time try diabling turbulence and see if that helps.Sean Campbell Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator
August 10, 201114 yr Review ASE's help section (within ASE itself) where it talks specifically about PMDG planes, that rid me of problems a few months back. I run all of PMDG's advanced birds with zero troubles in terms of ASE (no s-turns or other oddities). Scott Burns
August 10, 201114 yr The screen flashing is not because of ASE but the SimConnect interface that we must use with FSX.
August 11, 201114 yr Author Ok, then I'll take a look there... Hope I'll find something. @Jim: I don't use the SimConnect Client at present. I just wanted to outsource ASE 2 my second computer, but it seems that I'm 2 stupid for sharing the FSX folder in the App\Roaming Folder. I can see that folder on my secondary computer, but I don't have any permission 2 open it. I've set read and write access 2 all users on my primary computer, but it won't work. kind regards, Guenter
August 11, 201114 yr Hi, There is no such folder on the secondary computer or maybe you mean you are browsing from the client to the server? You don't need that permission to open that file from the client, just read and write permissions for programs to be able to.
