January 2, 200422 yr If you are a Dc9 fantast and love realism gor here for a fantastic panel and aircraft for FS9 built by a real pilot. It isn
January 3, 200422 yr Oooh, he finally released it? I've been waiting for that for months, thanks for the heads-up!
January 3, 200422 yr Yes, its an excellent package. very detailed, FR friendly and IMO superior to its payware parallel. Definetly the best freeware addon for this category! For some reason though, it doesn't get the attention it should, donno why.//Mike
January 3, 200422 yr Is it any coincidence that this now appears at fsplanet some 48 hours or so after your heads up?markyboy.P.S. email already sent!
January 4, 200422 yr Whow, that's an excellent and very authentic package. Also the flight model feels great and one can use correct EPR values, that's a rare thing in FS. Only problem are occasional hickups in the IAS Hold Mode, probably due to the stupid Microsoft Autopilot-Routines. The plane would deserve a custom IAS/Mach-Hold Mode. However, can anyone recommend a good DC-9 engine sound ?Mike
January 4, 200422 yr Yeah! OK! Lets all just jump in and fly this bird! Yeah, sure right!(lol)What a magnifent piece of work. Stunning!!Strange thing is that I did! Just Ctrl E started engines, took off, circled cruise liners at Seattle, and landed again! There were so many warning sounds, flashing lightens and buzzes, it was a cacophony of noise!! Quite right! It should have been.I have paid for worse, much worse!Serious simmer? I agree, lets get the pdf loaded, lets get to the WWW site, lets see if we CAN learn this aircraft. Lets see if we can have a quiet flight! (no chance I fear for me)Very well done, and a HUGE thank you for making this available.Fs9 complains that it may NOT be a suitable aircraft on start up screen, and offers the option to exclude it. Do not exclude. Let it load, it works!Stunning stuff.
January 5, 200422 yr Ronals,You can eliminate the MS msg on start up screen by adding thosr two dll's to your fs9.cfg under OLDMUDULES. (see the readme file) //Mike

January 6, 200422 yr Neat. P3 - 600 & FS2002. Flies just like I remember when I have flown in the jump seat. The engine sound is perfect.JimCYWG
