Hi all, I, too, always get either a dead a/c (no instruments, joystick doesn't work, no switches work) or a CTD. This is with using FSX's save flight. FSUIPC was causing all kinds of problems. dan davison

I've spent the last week using my "Current" saved file repeatedly, saving over it after each session with FSCaptain going from point to point. I haven't had anything unusual crop up during any flights (other than maintenance items...airframe's getting the crap flown out of it, lol)...it's worked fine (Hotfix 3 version). Have not seen the high fuel temps issue lately. I only experienced one crash yesterday when exiting FSX, after saving my "Current" flight. I chalk that one up to EZDock, which I just installed yesterday. I do NOT save any flights while in the air...I wait until I complete the flight, park, and setup the cockpit for a "short" turnaround (I have not needed to re-load any panel states).
