Jerky climbs and turns

Featured Replies

Hi, I'm running version 1.00.2922 of the NGX.It's a minor issue, but I've observed that sometimes the turns and even more the climbs under autoflight are quite jerky, i. e. the control column and control wheel perform jerky movements. The aircraft does follow the commanded track and altitude as it should. It's just a matter of passenger comfort ;) Anyone else seen that?

Hi, Before Dr Vaos asks you, did you disable the thermal and turbulence option in FS ?

I've been having the same problem with the abrupt control movements. I have disabled turbulence in FSX and followed the steps in the ASE manual to reduce it';s effects including a registered copy of FSUIPC set to smooth turbulence and wind effects. I've also tried identical test flights using ASE, REX, and default FSX weather engines and have the same abrupt control movement issues regardless of what weather program is running.

I had these jerky movements also and decided to wait for a fix. Then, yesterday, I installed hotfix 2922 and afterwards EZdok (wanted to try that for a long time).First flight after that: no more jerky movements. Don't know what fixed it!Jan,Eelde-Groningen (EHGG), Netherlands.

Thanks for all your replies. I do use ASE weather, but abrupt movement also happened with ASE not running. Probably same issue as JohnClark1102 has already reported. There's no turbulence or weather set in FSX itself.
