SU5 Beta 2 (1.7.7.0) released
Minor issue, but nevertheless: I do a lot of flights in the Flysimware Cessna 414W on OnAir Company. After this recent beta-update the fuel loading routine between On Air and the EFB in the Flysimware Cessna 414 seems to be malfunctioning. Loading fuel via EFB seems to be stuck.

FSRealistic PLUS for FS'24 exclusive release preview
Is it me or does FSRealistic+ take a chunk of FPS? I compared flying with and without FSRealistic (IFR flight from ENKB to EHGG in a Flysimware C414AW). Results: 60 without FSRealistic+; 45-55 fps with FSRealistic+. It's still OK by me, but still. Jan

ProATC/X problem
Jarkko, Do you mean you set these descent rates manually (in-flight) or can they be set as an option in in Pro-ATC? regards, Jan Aalders

ProATC/X problem
I agree. One weak point of ProATC is the planning of trans-atlantic flights. I doesn't know NAT's and it just generates a whole bunch of waypoints across the Atlantic. When flying trans-atlantic, I always use PFPX (with actual NAT's) and then import it into ProATC, but quite often it still doesn't recognise the NAT-route and generates it's own route across the Pond, sometimes in one go from coast to coast. In that case I have to add the NAT-route manually. Otherwise: it's indeed a great ATC tool! regards, Jan

ProATC/X problem
ProATC sometimes does that. I've noticed it also. Sometimes it's a fault in the correct order of waypoints, but sometimes the reason is not clear (at least not to me). I guess you know this already, but you can bypass this by asking ATC a direct-to clearance to the next waypoint. It's not a real solution, but al least you can continue your flight. Als je het nog niet wist, probeer het maar eens Jeroen. regards, Jan

All used addons while playing.
Are you serious? Using a surgeon-simulation (they're out there for anyone to use) should require a medical license? What are you afraid of? That a plumber should operate on his neighbour after trying it on a that simulator. That I (being a phycisian, not a pilot) will apply for a job as 777-pilot with our national airlines (KLM)? Come on now brad, have a little faith in the "homo ludens". J.A. MD

A2A Cessna stowaway
It may have been mentioned before (couldn't find anything), but when switching form cockpit to outside view of the A2A Simulations Cessna 182 and the frame or textures take a little time to load, you can see a stowaway in the baggage compartment of the A2A Cessna 182. Or am I hallucinating?

Radar Contact and the new NGX
I guess you checked the waypoints of the flightplan used by RC4 and the one used by the FMC?Sometimes I make some changes in the FMC flightplan and forget to "let RC4 know". Then it can happen that they send me the wrong way. I use RC4 all the time with 737 NGX and have no problems besides the fact that RC4 often lets me descend somewhat too late for the approach. They must be thinking my 737 descends like a brick in free fall. greetsJanEHGG, the Netherlands

TCAS -99
Fixed it by re-applying the latest hotfix (2922). Now I get the correct relative altitude-tags on the TCAS again. Thanks anyhow.

TCAS -99
Hotfix 2922 installed. First trip last night after this hotfix was allright with correct relative-level tags on TCAS (with Ultimate Traffic 2 A.I.).I had to re-install the summer 2011 schedule for UT2 however, due to my screwing up some airport-data. Install went OK.After that, on my next trip (EHGG to LEMG), I only get -(minus)99 tags attached to all planes showing up on TCAS. When on the ground they all show + (plus) 99. The rest of the sim runs great. Any idea's? FSX; ASE weather engine with REX2 graphics; UT2; RC4; EZdok. Win 7 Home Premium 64 bit; Asus P6T Deluxe V2 MB @ 4.0 GHz; 8 Gb Corsair Dominator RAM.FSX and Win7 on separate HD's. Jan,EHGG, Netherlands

Shockwave 3D
Good question. Had to think about it myself actually. I got it "one piece at a time", to quote good old Johnny Cash here. I can't exactly reproduce my sources, to be honest. I know I still had some shockwave 3D files tucked away on my rig and found some on the shockwave forum. I added what looked good to me to my [LIGHTS] part of the aircraft.cfg. After that the fiddling around with the specific 737-800 WL lines (13 to 17) took so much time, that I forgot about the pmdg-lines (0 to 12) and just left them where they were. You know how the way that goes: you search the net, search old storage media, and so on. Before you know it you have a lot of material and don't even know anymore where you found it. All of you who ever wrote a thesis, know exactly what I mean. :) I haven't even tried running it without the pmdg-specific lines. I just added them, kinda forgot them and the result looks good.Maybe they're not even all needed. I don't know. Haven't tried myself yet. And oh, I didn't change anything in the Panel config. greets,JanEHGG

Jerky climbs and turns
I had these jerky movements also and decided to wait for a fix. Then, yesterday, I installed hotfix 2922 and afterwards EZdok (wanted to try that for a long time).First flight after that: no more jerky movements. Don't know what fixed it!Jan,Eelde-Groningen (EHGG), Netherlands.

Maplight
Well, right after I posted my thread, I noticed this new hotfix that you mention, but I also read the comments (freezes and the lot), so Im a bit reluctant to install it, because, apart from my maplight, it runs smooth. I think I'll wait a little while. May be until the next fix, or SP1.B.t.w.: I'm currently using build 2916. gr.Jan.

VoxATC serious memory leak
Hi Philippe,Not until the eagerly awaited SP for ASA I wouldn't. Hope the SP fixes it. Until then I use ASX, despite the problems with cloud- and haze-popping. When using ASX I also have ATIS giving me correct weather (not so using ASA and global weather settings). And, maybe even more important, ASX is less of a system hog (ASA eats fps).Jan
