Small note: Thank you all for the feedback and reports so far! Any new regressions tagged wtih feedback-logged or bug-logged is under active investigation. Issues like the autogen buildings with no windows, Tobii eyetracker tilt, etc. are being worked on.

    Not really sure why someone stated that the autogen houses are already "really ugly" when referring to the missing windows. Compared to P3D autogen, the MSFS 2024 autogen buildings look very nice inde

  • Another way to get around this right now is to use the search bar. It only selects an aircraft that is visible on screen. So search the aircraft's name exactly so it's the only thing on screen.

Added sim rate under minimap

General Bug Fixes

Fixed a bug where the time does not advance while the weather panel is opened.

 

Fixed several options not being properly reset in the “Effects and Animation” category of the settings

 

Install, Performance & Graphics

Added a pop-up while changing language.

 

Temporary fix for visual glitch on AMD Radeon RX 9xxx due to badly read exposure in divergent code path.

 

Aircraft

Fixed an issue causing the GNS430/530 SimAttachments to have their Zoom/Dezoom buttons inverted.

Cessna 172 Skyhawk

Added C172 classic variants equipped with an Avidyne IFD550/540 rather than the GNS530/430.

Added a way to indicate the speed level at which gears take damage when immersed in water.

If you are playing on PC, outdated packages in your community folder may have an unexpected impact on the title’s performance and behavior.

If you suffer from stability issues or long loading times, move your community package(s) to another folder before relaunching the title.

Hopefully they fixed the missing windows in the autogen scenery and introduced the temp fix for the AMD RX90XX GPUS. If they managed those two then time to jump in. 

Update. The temp fix is in for the AMD GPU according to the release notes. But it still looks like auto gen building windows are still amiss.

This seems to be missing, there is still only the Classic Garmin variant.

I think this is a gradual rollout. 1/2 hour after this thread posted here, I still found myself in 1.7.6 when launched. But now finally the update reached my way, and 1.7.7 is now updating.

1.7.7 ... what still remains is that this update resets some of your settings choices.

In VR:

Exposure Compensation is reset to 0

Anti Aliasing is turned OFF

Foveated Rendering is turned OFF

Global Rendering Quality is turned to MEDIUM

In General:

Exposure Comp is reset to 0

AntiAlias is NOT turned off, it is still where it was

Frame Generation is turned OFF

GRQ is turned to MEDIUM

I can guess no reason why they would automatically reset Exposure Compensation to 0
