My very tentative suggestions, based on my own experience with a high powered rig to run FSX. I would do as Noah suggests: install a second disc, definitely a VRaptor 10000rpm for FSX alone. They are cheaper and larger in volume than the SSDs and work really well. Put the OS and everything else on the 1TB. A long while ago when I first really upgraded I installed a 1000watt power supply. It might be overkill but I have never had a power related problem - and the difference in price is small.

Not if you get a good 1000W, they can be rather expensive.

I should apologise. I bought it some time ago and I think it was pricey for the time. So I guess its up to the individual as to how much they can afford. All I can say that it has never given me a problem of any sort.
