A little help with a new PC....

Yes, 590 useless for FSX. Pitty. Good cos it saves you spending stupid amounts on a system.

Oh it would if you don't just stretch the image, but when you use two monitors and you are splitting the image, the center of the image will be on the bezel but if you stretch the 1080p image you only need the one GTX 580. I worded this terribly so I hope you understand.

If I may ask, is the price of my system ok? Because since you build your own, I would just like a reference on pricing...
Check my post here for the exact specs: http://forum.avsim.net/topic/344327-my-new-system-that-i-use-for-businessi-mean-the-ngx/page__fromsearch__1 I paid $1150 US for it but note I did use my old video card and hard drives

Im sorry, but what is LE? And why would it better to have a 700 w than a 600?Eduardo Rubini

LE are the cheaper version of the boards...like a light version. The standard versions have more features, better to OC with etc. 700W just gives you more headroom for an overclock. Saves you running out of power

I run fine with a 750W so a 700W would also be fine I would guess. Where has your profile pic gone NGX? Its time to slow down on the posts!

What we really need is someone who is able to move all the hardware related threads to the hardware forums, instead of cluttering up PMDG's

I don't see the harm when they're asking about a PC to run PMDG products. The people here are a lot more likely to know than in the hardware forum.

Th hardware forum has all the top tech guru's. That's the best place for hardware questions. The PMDG forums are for product support and PMDG product discussion. Not hardware. And the information provided here will more than likely be wrong unless it's from someone from the hardware forums, or one of the PMDG team. For example somebody replied to a post saying SLI'ing 2 470's would be better than upgrading to a 570. That's completely wrong.

You get those people anywhere & I fail to understand how a post here is more likely to be wrong than somewhere else. If I post in hardware am I going to be right more often than when I post here? Besides, most of these topics are from people who don't care how it runs FSX. They care how it runs FSX and the NGX, or 744, or MD-11...

Hey your helpful, we need people like you on these forums!
Thanks.

But like I said, if someone replies with something incorrect in the hardware forums, they're quickly corrected. As far as I've seen, the only people who visit the PMDG forums who know their stuff are dedicated to the hardware forums or are the PMDG techs. Maybe 1 or 2 others but that's it. And even then, none are in here regular.
