August 18, 201114 yr Author Hey Glen that sounds like just the ticket. Not my favorite chopper but they look to have ticked all the other boxes! Any other suggestions before I hit the Buy it Now button? CheersRichard
August 18, 201114 yr One more word.............. The Dodo. Beats anything else by a mile. Nothing else comes close, Richard. Buy it first, before any others take your eye. If, like me - you spend another $70 or $80 on two other choppers - then you buy the Dodo - the others will end up sitting in the hangar. Money wasted. i7 [email protected] | 32GB RAM | EVGA RTX 3080Ti | Maximus Hero VII | 512GB 860 Pro | 512GB 850 Pro | 256GB 840 Pro | 2TB 860 QVO | 1TB 870 EVO | Seagate 3TB Cloud | EVGA 1000 GQ | Win10 Pro | EK Custom water cooling.

Ok, I would not know about the dynamics of hovercontrol birds, but when I was looking for heli's some years back hovercontrol had a good review. August 18, 201114 yr Great that sounds unanimous. Downloading the dodo! Richard I don't think you will be disappointed. I have bought MANY over the years that are collecting virtual dust. Happy Dodoing, Glen PS. Flight 1 has a 30 day money back policy so it's risk free.
August 18, 201114 yr Author Hi Guys,I tried hovercontrol in FS9, I think it was a Huey, Anyway I found it a bit easy and big and sluggish, generous though to be giving out free stuff so Im not complaining,,but if Im going to spend time flying a chopper nowadays I want it to be as close to the real deal as possible. Also something nice and agile. I decided this last night, I flew the default chopper from Benbecula up to the top of a mountain and then down onto an island, I have that good new scenery for up there. Anyway it was a lot of fun but let down by the awful default 206. Thanks again for the good advice, I am downloading now. Lets hope I can fly it after all my macho chopper talk!
August 18, 201114 yr I prefer the Bell 412 by Cerasim. True the FDE isn't as extreme as the dodosim B206 but with the HTR free addon from hovercontrol it get's more realistic, if you have the controls for it. http://cerasimaircraft.com/bell_412_fsx.htmlhttp://www.hovercontrol.com/cgi-bin/ifolio/imageFolio.cgi?direct=HTR_-_Helicopter_Total_Realism | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
