Sean, Thanks very much for the help, that has made things a lot nicer! Please accept my grattitude :) Simon
Your more than welcome Simon, i'm glad to help.
You mentioned that you used a batch file to mip all the textures for a scenery, Would you mind sharing this as i have quite a few Aerosoft sceneries id like to do and ive just looked at my scenery for Venice and dont fancy doing it individually Praying.gif
Yes, the batch files are a time saver but only work for .bmp files and not .dds.However, if you choose to use the batch file for .bmp's you still need to open each of the bmp and see if they are DXT5,3,1, then seperate them by compression and them batch all the DXT'1 then the others, otherwise you might accidentally end up turning a DXT1 into a DXT3 or visa versa which would alter the file sizes. In truth the batch file works best for adding mips to AI traffic texture files since they are generally all the same format.I will see if I can find my batcher and send it to you with instructions, I haven't used it in a while and need to see if I can remember where I stashed it.Sean Campbell

Ah right ok! I was looking through Venice last night and its 99% .dds textures so might have to go through them 1x1 (will backup them up for future use) and add mips to them, is made a mssive difference to the NGX, Thanks again Simon
