August 22, 201114 yr If you do not know anything about voltages for that CPU/Board don't touch it , else you will fry something. Ryzen 5 1600x - 16GB DDR4 - RTX 3050 8GB - MSI Gaming Plus
August 22, 201114 yr Author Ok, can I leave them in AUTO without problem, correct? And what about Turbo power Limit, C1E and othes, can I ENABLE them now? August 23, 201114 yr EDIT:Seriously man, did I spend my long posts giving you a good tutorial and all, so that you overclock however you like? Do as it pleases you... I'm outta here...
August 23, 201114 yr Ok, can I leave them in AUTO without problem, correct? And what about Turbo power Limit, C1E and othes, can I ENABLE them now?NEVER in my experiences do you put the voltage on auto. The mobo can do some silly things. August 23, 201114 yr That's true. I've seen the auto stick voltages above the maximum allowed. If you run it on that, it'll fry quickly. August 23, 201114 yr Author Thanks to all Riccardo OS: Windows 10-64 bit, CPU: i7-7700K @4.20 GHz, GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1080 G1 8GB GDDR5, RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR4 32GB 3000MHz, MB: MSI Z270
August 23, 201114 yr I tried the auto voltage on my 2500k once and it didn't even boot, had to reset BIOS. Both optimists and pessimists contribute to our society. The optimist invents the airplane and the pessimist the parachute. ~Gil Stern
August 23, 201114 yr Author My auto voltage run fine on my system, my doubt was that the voltagesv were to high in auto so my cpu is too much supercharged and temp go high. I need to find the lower voltage to obtain low temp and stability. August 23, 201114 yr This was at 4.5GHz so it was not easy for the mobo. If you are at stock or just over, then auto does the job. Both optimists and pessimists contribute to our society. The optimist invents the airplane and the pessimist the parachute. ~Gil Stern
August 23, 201114 yr Author Stock is 2,67 i oc to 3,65 and leave in auto, but i don't know if trust auto voltage. My temp with prime go to 80C and it's no good for cpu i think. August 23, 201114 yr Author Is that I've done, but HOW to low, also 0,85, minimum range value for i7? Riccardo OS: Windows 10-64 bit, CPU: i7-7700K @4.20 GHz, GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1080 G1 8GB GDDR5, RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR4 32GB 3000MHz, MB: MSI Z270
August 23, 201114 yr Is that I've done, but HOW to low, also 0,85, minimum range value for i7? If you go too low, the system won't boot. So then you just start increasing it again till it boots, then stress test it to see if it's stable. Most cpu voltages for that CPU shouldn't go below 1. Just read the OC guide that was posted here before. August 23, 201114 yr Author I red it carefully, it's a very good guide. Many thanks again :-) As said before I use Freezer Xtreme Artic Cooler, but I've tested with 3.65 my CPU temp go high, about 80°C, so in your opinion which is the best cooler, Thermalight or Noctua for my mobo? August 23, 201114 yr Noctua NH-D14. Best air cooler available (and priciest).
