FSFrance Releases Project Mach 2 Concorde - Problem

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,Is anybody else currently having problems linking to the FSFrance site using the link on Avsim's front page?I was there earlier today and downloaded various files relating to the latest fs9 variant of their wonderful Concorde but need to return as I have a couple of minor issues in need of fixing.I receive the message: "You are not authorized to view this page" and HTTP Error 403. Could it be that they are offline at present?BTW, I was wanting to ask about the engine flame winking at ;)Otherwise, I have nothing but praise for this creation. Flies very nicely now in FS9 and looks great.Mike

Im having trouble getting to the site also. Im trying to get there to download the new Charles de Gaulle (CDG) scenery for FS2004. Im guessing the site is down while they update the links and stuff.

Hi Joseph,Managed finally to get on to their english speaking forum and I see their servers are down for the time being - apparently swamped with demand since the FS9 Concorde release announcement.Mike

Hi Mike,I tried to download it all three times and gave up - I am sure that they will sort it out and then soon we will be able to fly a Concorde in Swissair colours - bizarre eh?

Hello :)Yes, sorry, we have problems with our website bandwidth. Since the Avsim announcement, a lot of people tried to download Concorde and Real CDG 2004.We are working hard in order to resolve this problem, and we hope we will be online again soon.Sorry for any incovenience :)Best regards,Thomas

I tried to previous Concorde but it really slowed down the framerates on my system (AMD XP1800, 512MB RAM, ATI 9600 Pro)so I stopped using it. Is the new one any better?Victor

The website is working again. Happy downloads ;)@ Victor:Well, it is strange that Concorde makes your fps to slow down. I have exactly the same hardware than yours, and i get very good fps with PM2 Concorde.

Hi Victor,Generally speaking I think the answer is probably yes. There is a bit of a slow down at KSEA but after t/o frame rates are fine.MikeP4 2.4GHz (400FSB), 1Gig PC2100 DDR Crucial, ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 128MB (Omega 2.5.04), Hyundai ImageQuest Q17 17" Monitor (1280x1024x32), Gigabyte GA-8IRXP MoBo, Ultra-Quiet PSU 400W, WinXP Home (SP1), DirectX 9.0b

Hi Thomas,I'm trying to download the files necessary right now, but I'm having trouble with the PM2C_V2_COMMON_TEXTURES.exe file. It's listed on your site as being 6.02mb, however when I download it's 3.86mb and gives an error when I try to open it. It looks like it's been truncated in the upload process somehow. Just thought you should know.thanks,
