August 28, 201114 yr Congradulations Phil, welcome back to the land of the..... Urm, not quite sure what to call us.... Rónán O Cadhain.
August 29, 201114 yr Thanks guys Had a go with FSX and the NGX this morning. What a disaster! Me that is, not the NGX. Seems my coordination has been 'skewed' a little. Doc warned of this, which is why I can't drive for a while. Really bizarre... as I try to apply small amounts of left rudder, my right leg then jumps and applies full right rudder for just a second, and vice versa. Makes for a very scary takeoff for the poor passengers I can tell you Guess I'm resigned to learning, not flying for now. One of the doctors apparantly has a part share in PA-28 somewhere in Switzerland. I think that's the Cherokee is it not? Got some questions re the NGX, but I'll head nextdoor to the right forum... August 29, 201114 yr Awww, scary takeoff. You'll get over it and we will all be smiling :(. Both optimists and pessimists contribute to our society. The optimist invents the airplane and the pessimist the parachute. ~Gil Stern
