Creating panel config

Featured Replies

Hello Forum! First of all: what a joy when two brilliant instances merge into a final product that blows my brains out (probably forgot some setting there).Congratulations and many thanks! One tiny issue though: I could not update my panel config through the PMDG manager. Did everything possible to let it work but it didn't.Had to copy and past it and all is fine now but still...Sure as I am that I'm not the only one with this mind teasing problem I just want to mention it. Tried to figure it out so did the cold and dark checks and one thing was a bit off: when I mouse-hover over the config manager icon on the task bar of Fs2Crew it displays: Fs2 Crew 2010 Leonardo Mad Dog Edition. And that is a totally different story. It probably means nothing but still, my problem must arise from somewhere. As I said before everything works like a Jetstream; had to learn my computer to speak another language ( I found that out after purchasing, it was not in the initial contract and website) and I myself speak like Dirty Harry now -at least I try. Again: thanks a lot for this peace of art. Sincerely, Robbert Glas

If the Panel.Cfg is not being updated via the PMDG Manager, it's because you're probably not running it as an Admin. Right click the PMDG Config Manager icon and select "Run as Admin". It's also a good idea to full turn off UAC. Then try again. Why do all this? Because with Vista and Win 7, Microsoft made it tougher to write to files located in the Program Files folder if you're not an Admin. Cheers,
