PMDG 777 + Active Sky Next: Perfect settings? Turbulences on every apporach -..-
'Tag Maurice, as stated in the intro manual it is recommended to "Disable turbulence and thermal effects on aircraft" whithin FSX. Start with this if not already done. Also try adjusting the "Maximum wind turbulence" slider to a smaller value. Leaving it at 100% may be unrealistic.

Checklists and Cap's flow
Ryan, talking about bugs, I think I came across one yesterday. Before taxi I ask for flaps 15 and the FO answered with "flaps 15" but set flaps 5, I had to manualy set the flaps. Did not have time to replicate and I don't know if it's an already known issue, so I thought I'd mention it here.

Virtual Cdu
Could it be due to the quality of your tablet's WIFI reception ?

Problem to save panelstate with APU running
Yes but... even if battery is off, it should not prevent a panel state to load correctly.

Banning babies from flights?
And what about a "baby defender" now ? There are many devices that will enable you to isolate yourself from noise, even the loudest baby... So no. No ban.

Weather Radar
It was still raining after your exit the cloud. I think I understood Opus was working on this. Why would they if it was already working ?

FMC-Crashes when changing approach (PROGRAM PIN-ERROR)
I had the "programm pin error" message on ground after trying to change runway for takeoff at KTPA... CDU on captain side was frozen, I could still go through the menues on the FO side but could not insert anything anymore. Happened only once, and I did not try to reproduce so I'm not sure what triggered the issue, change of runway or something else I did before... edit : also want to add it happened after pushback, with flightplan fully completed and activated.

Talk about a close call
http://pilote-virtuel.com/viewtopic.php?id=63348 Explanation from a BCN ATCO : Airport was about to change from night configuration to day configuration. At night, runway 02 is used for landing and 07R for take-off, while during the day 25L becomes the take-off runway and 25R is used for landing (unless winds favor runways 07L/R). Two of the three ground Air Traffic Controllers work in a smaller Tower located near the main Terminal (frequencies 121.65 and 122.225) while the other ground frequency (121.7), delivery and the two tower frequencies (118.1 and 119.1) are located in the main Tower. 121.65 (122.225 not used at night) cleared the Aerolineas Argentinas A340 to cross runway 02, which he thought was not active as he expected the airport to be in day configuration. Meanwhile, the UT Air Boeing 767 was cleared to land on the same runway by Tower (118.1). Crossing the active runway usually requires some coordination between the two towers but this is not necessary in night configuration. Source : PilotList, Robert T.

Js41 sp2
Yeah I bought one (don't remember which one though) some times ago, but did not care to reinstall when I went through a full FSX reinstall. And it was more eyecandy than anything else at the time. Now we know the technology exists and has been approved by PMDG. I didn't know about Rex, I'll check on it sometime.

Js41 sp2
SP2 for the J41 has been definitely discarded a while back, but with recent developpement news I've been wondering if we could see the weather radar implemented sometime in the far far futur.

A/P Disconnect
I had that issue on my very first flight (amber caution light would not go off, with no message on the eicas, and nothing after recall). I was using the air france cargo livery. I also encountered the "no clickable buttons" shortly after takeoff as I wanted to raise the landing gear. Lasted for about 10 seconds. And then the sim crashed. That's what I call an inauguration flight ! Second flight I did not have any of these issues (boeing worldliner caro version).
