September 1, 201114 yr I'm going to dig up this old topic because I have a similar question... I'm flying SAN - BUR via ZLA's TEC route MZB293R SLI148R SLI V23 LAX LAX316R SILEX. Interestingly enough, the intersection of the first two radials is PEBLE, but I'm not flying the DP. What is the best way to input MZB293R into my FMC? I tried MZB293/39 (which is the point where the radial intersects SLI148R) but it said invalid entry.Do you mind me asking which software do you use to get those routes ? Frederic Steiner.
September 1, 201114 yr Author Mainly just skyvector...especially when I validate them. However the base TEC routes come off vatsim's LA ARTCC page:http://www.laartcc.org/tecroutes.php I admit their routes seem a little redundant, especially for /G or /Q equipped planes. That same route would be easier on the eyes if filed MZB PEBLE SLI v23 LAX SILEX (and it's the same route). | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |

September 1, 201114 yr Gosh the FMC method sounds hard. I'll just stick to raw data with NAV1 on inbound and NAV2 on bearing from VOR.
September 1, 201114 yr Author Gosh the FMC method sounds hard. I'll just stick to raw data with NAV1 on inbound and NAV2 on bearing from VOR. Yeah I can do that already.... I want to know how to get the data in the FMC. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
September 1, 201114 yr Dumb question, but what does the fix D172N actually mean? I've actually kinda wondered what some of these random number fixes are... Ryan Vanderbrook
September 1, 201114 yr Author If I had to guess it would be 17.2 DME N of something... or it could just be the navdata is cutoff. In my first post you can see the IAF for the VOR 21 via the DLH288015R. In the navdata it normally says DLH2880 as the first fix... Anyway does anyone have an answer for making the NGX fly radials?? | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
