August 25, 201114 yr Since purchase i have had no noticeable issues other than incorrect annuciation on the ND during autoland, untillast night after landing at EHAM. After getting half way to the turminal i lost all brakes. No i didn,t check for brake failure. Rick Hobbs
August 25, 201114 yr Author Over heated brakes? Dan.Crossed my mind. Am kicking myself for not checking things like this and assuming it was a bug before exiting FSX. Rick Hobbs
August 25, 201114 yr I use good thrust control for taxi, it's easy to over heat the brakes on this bird, especially after landing. Think about it; 70 tonnes of aircraft travelling at 150 mph slowing to a near stop in a few thousand feet with only two wheel bogeys, HEAT!!Dan.

August 25, 201114 yr Author What are they ? Usually there is nothing wrong with annunciations. After selecting APP and then engaging CMD-'B', i get a green 'CMD' annunciation on the FD (sorry, mistakenly said ND), when i understand it is supposed to be orange 'CH1' or something to that effect? August 25, 201114 yr After selecting APP and then engaging CMD-'B', i get a green 'CMD' annunciation on the FD (sorry, mistakenly said ND), when i understand it is supposed to be orange 'CH1' or something to that effect? It will only change to CH 1 after you capture the localizer. At 1500 feet it will then change to Land 3 for Fail Operational or back to CMD for Fail Passive. That is the correct behaviour. It will only do that with Hotfix 3 applied. Fred. Frederic Steiner.
August 25, 201114 yr I believe it is supposed to show CMD if you have a fail passive auto pilot.Dan.Edit: beat me to it Fred.
August 25, 201114 yr I believe it is supposed to show CMD if you have a fail passive auto pilot. Dan. Edit: beat me to it Fred.Lol. Even with fail passive it will annunciate CH1 above 1500 ft.Changes to CMD below 1500 ft. Fred. Frederic Steiner.
August 25, 201114 yr Cheers, I forgot to add that bit.Is The White Flare armed the only indication after CMD that you have got an autoland active and correct? I suppose if CMD did not annunciate you'd know? I'll have to read up on that.Dan.

Both in white of course. Frederic Steiner.

August 25, 201114 yr Commercial Member There is no known issue with autoland annunciations - this was correct in alpha testing even. Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com
August 25, 201114 yr There is no known issue with autoland annunciations - this was correct in alpha testing even.I must disagree with you on that Ryan ! Before Hotfix 3 it announced CMD instaed of CH 1 above 1500 ft with the localizer captured. I even read something from PMDG saying it was now fixed with Hotfix 3.And yes it is now fixed. Fred.
