August 26, 201114 yr i agree with paul 100%. im flying the 737 NGX 6 hours a day (2 complete flights without time compression) but sometimes i feel missing flying the md11. i dont own the 747 coz i knew wasnt a native plane for fsx so really hope the team will make a V2 before make it for microsoft flight. and i also hope for a small patch for include the glass inside the md11 vc coz now the pc are much more powerful. I wish I had time for 2 flights a day. I did 2 on Sunday but I was home all day with a hang over. :-) Regards, Max (YSSY) i7-12700K | Corsair Vengeance LPX 64GB 3600MHz DDR4 | Gigabyte RTX4090 24Gb | Gigabyte Z690 AORUS ELITE DDR4 | Corsair HX1200 PSU

August 26, 201114 yr I agree with fabio777. NGX is a fantastic bird, no doubt. It is the most advanced aircraft available for FSX at the moment, thanks to PMDG and their coding abilities to go beyond FSX and it's own coding but the Queen is the 'Queen'!There's no retiring of her with me. She has always been treasured and always will be - after all it is called the 'Queen' for a reason ;)Speaking of the NGX, I noticed some fantastic light effects that mirror the flashes of the wing strobe on the ground and have constant reflection of the position/nav lights. Is there any way to get a similar effect on the 747 ? I've been searching all over the web for this and I did fall on some links where a user had created a similar effect for 2004, I believe, but it was far from being realistic. The timing of the flashes were way off. If someone can guide me with that, I'd probably be flying the Queen just as much as I fly the NGX right now! Hoping for positive answers Cheers
August 27, 201114 yr Nice thread... I too, love 'The Queen.' - a great model created with less bugs like the NGX. I haven't flown it ever since the NGX was released. All those nice repaints still waiting there in the hangar. I have no plans of uninstalling and sending to the 'graveyard.' Maybe one of these days I'll do a flight with it (just to keep me familiar with it)... Roy Joven T.
