Nvidia Inspector
There is a P3D profile in Ni. You poss have to update it or download the latest drivers from nvidia and that will put a P3D profile in Ni.

Prepar3D V3.3.3 Released
I only installed the Client not the Content. Just a bit concerned to try again with 3.3 as is there an amount of times you can Activiate your licence with out having any issues? Just if I try Client & Content and still no joy with Uk2000 textures and have to go back to 3.2 again.

Asn next and Rex 4 lightning with little to no clouds
I'm not that impressed in using ASN with P3D 3.2 Really wet and rainy today at Gatwick (EGKK.) ASN weather conditions were stating correct weather. Loaded up the Sim all I got was a few clouds, blue skies and no rain falling. Weather radar was showing rain clouds. I've updated to the Beta of service pack 5, not had a chance to try it out but hopefully that may improve things.

747-400 V2 Tutorial Requests
PMDG Team Just wanted to get a quick request in for the 747-400V2 tutorial. Could you have alook at doing the Virgin Atlantic VS43 EGKK-KLAS (or return leg). It's a route always flown by the 747-400 and with some excellent scenery Uk2000 EGKK and FSDT KLAS avaliable would add to it. I know it's along flight for a tutorial but I'm guessing the 747-400 V2 will have the time compression feature. Any other ideas guys for a good tutorial?

B744 Cockpit Visit For Grown Man
United Airlines Captain let me sit in his seat on a 777 and have a photo taken after we had landed in Chicago. He saw me looking in the cockpit as I got off and invited me in.

Another "will my system be sufficient" question :-)
Hi. I have an i5 3570K running at 4.4ghz and a GTX 660. I have my frames locked at 30fps, flying the PMDG 777. Normally my frames stay high 20's biggest killer is ASN flying through overcast/thick clouds where I can drop to 11FPS around complex addon airports. Once I've climbed/descended through heavy areas of cloud frames go back to high 20's. I use Affinty Mask 14 as its a quad core and in Nvida control panel I set vsync to adaptive. For a lower/ mid range system P3D V3.2 runs very smooth no stutters.

Pushback Strange behaviour
Not had that problem. I've had an issue when doing multiple flights/pushbacks with the built in PMDG system that on pushback the aircraft will not stop and just keeps going backwards until I stop the system manually.

Manually Closing Thrust Levers And HOLD mode
Can we say as I haven't had a chance to test yet, for the PMDG 777 to act as the real aircraft with manually closing the Thrust Levers and going into HOLD mode, you have to change the settings of your hardware via the FMC to A/T Overide to "ALWAYS"?
-
Manually Closing Thrust Levers And HOLD mode
Idle, and Setting is A/T Overide In Hold Mode only. I see Alpha Floors post, looks like the setting for the throttle has to be in "Always" I will try that setup tomorrow and see how that works. Thanks

Manually Closing Thrust Levers And HOLD mode
I was doing the same as the video, selecting FLCH initiated a climb, I disconnected the Autopilot and pushed the nose down and started a descent. I pressed F1 to close the throttles expecting HOLD mode, but I stayed in SPD and the throttles would power up automatically to regain required thrust.

Manually Closing Thrust Levers And HOLD mode
I know YouTube videos you have to be careful of for factual accuracy but I thought this video was from the official report from the NTSB report to the KSFO incident. The video shows the aircraft in V/S mode descending, FLCH is selected which started a climb to the MA altitude. The pilot disconnected the autopilot and it states that the pilot closed the Thrust Levers which put the aircraft into HOLD Mode. Maybe if you have the time to see the video you could comment and see why I am asking this question.

Manually Closing Thrust Levers And HOLD mode
Hi Guys. I'm of the understanding that when you manually close the Thrust Levers to idle thrust the aircraft will go into HOLD mode and will be shown on the FMA. This understanding comes from watching a YouTube video in the Asiana incident at KSFO. On my sim (P3D V3) when I close the Thrust levers using the F1 key the aircraft stays in SPD mode and the Thrust Levers will move again automatically to regain the intended thrust. What is the correct behaviour of the aircraft when manually closing the Thrust Levers, should it go into HOLD mode? If so how do I get HOLD mode to become active? Thanks for any help

Latinvfr KSAN problem
Is it enabled in the scenery library? ( check tick next to scenery) Is their a LatinVFR folder contains KSAN files in the main P3D location? as far as I know there shouldn't be anything in the addon scenery file to do with this scenery. I know I've asked but do make sure that you've downloaded the main scenery from your simmarket account. If you've just purchased KSAN, your account probably won't show the update file anyway. When you started P3D after installing, did you get the blue box saying something like building scenery files?

Latinvfr KSAN problem
May seem a silly question but LatinVFR have just released an update to KSAN, are you trying just to install the update before you have installed the main scenery file?

Rolling back to 3.1 question

P3D V3.2 Loading Problem
Thanks for the reply Kyle. If you read my post the help you have provided is not really applicable to the problem I was having. On further investigation and reading the P3D forums the problem seems to be with the FSDT Addon Manager. An Update has been posted on their website. I have downloaded and installed it and happy to say that the new P3D V3.2 is now running on my system fault fee. Tony

P3D V3.2 Loading Problem
Hi Guys. I've just installed the new P3D 3.2 Client and I'm having problems loading my 777 into add on airports within in the Sim. Loading the 777 into default P3D airports seems to be working ok and default P3D aircraft load ok into add on airports with no problem, just seems the 777 to add on scenery is a problem. When I select the 777 from the Scenario screen and then select for example UK2000 EGKK the blue loading box will come up with no loading % bar and will crash the sim within a few seconds. This is the same for a few sceneries I have tried. FSDT KLAS, FlyTampa Corfu, Taxi To Gate KMCO. I have also tried with reinstalling the 3 SimConnect files but didn't work. Is anyone else having any troubles with the new P3D v3.2 Client? I have rolled back to 3.1 for the time being and all working ok in that version. Tony

How to remove cones from 777?
I guess you mean the cones when the Ground Connections are connected. Don't think you can remove the cones but run the aircraft using the APU so you won't need any Ground Connections attached to the aircraft. Then when you look around the external view the aircraft will be free from cones and other equipment.

LatinVFR KSAN (and some other airports) no taxiway or runway lights.
Did you install the scenery as Admininstartor? I always do that. Maybe uninstall and try to reinstall the scenery

LatinVFR KSAN (and some other airports) no taxiway or runway lights.
I bought this scenery a few weeks ago. Had an issue of misplaced buildings, I found that moving the scenery to a lower level in the scenery library solved my problem. All works fine now including the night lighting.

Cant find what I'm overlooking...
Speed brake in the armed position? Haven't flown the 737 for a long while, but I recall you will get a beeping sound if the speed brake is in the armed position when applying take off power.
