  1. Found it and works! Thanks for the heads up (and Boris also) - good luck on getting the Stab Trim update done. Cheers, Wayne
  2. I also use the Sidewinder 2 + FSForce - great combo for FSX in general - in answer to your specific questions on the NGX1. The auto pilot controlling the airplane? Is it going to move live with the VC column? NO2. The out-of-trim increased forces to control the column? NO (but does work this way on other aircraft)3. The increased forces needed to control the airplane with manual reversion (complete hydraulic failure)? NO4. Vibration or trembling during turbulence? NONot many YES answers there! What you do get though on the NGX which for me makes it worthwhile:Runway and taxiway 'bumps' so you can feel when you are on the ground - great for takeoff and landingYuo can 'feel' the landing with appropriate feedback depening on how hard or greasy the landing isStick shaker effects when approaching stall
  3. Find yourself a nice spot here somewhere... http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=Aircraft+Boneyard&sll=32.149964,-110.839176&sspn=0.034082,0.116386&g=Airplane+graveyard&ie=UTF8&hq=Aircraft+boneyard&hnear=Aircraft+boneyard&ll=32.156794,-110.826216&spn=0.032263,0.083685&t=h&z=14&iwloc=A
  4. His problem is using the 'next' button in the forum to see his post that wasn't deleted at all...
  5. FCTM says: Takeoff Command speed remains set at V2 until changed by the pilot for acceleration and flap retraction or until a subsequent pitch mode is engaged. Manually select flaps up maneuver speed at acceleration height.
  6. There is a post (now well buried) that indicates removing the PMDG DLL's from the [Trusted] section of FSX.CFG fixes this - just remove them all and they will be rebuild as required. Seems you end up with muliple extries for the same DLL due to DLL being updated in hotfix...
  7. Yes, thank you from me too. Running fine on my Q6600 @ 3GHz + 9600GT 512MB - similar performance to what I get with the F1 Mustang - which is fine by me
  8. That's the old message from 1 August...
  9. Actually, accourding to IATA the accident rate for 2010 was the lowest in history... http://www.iata.org/pressroom/pr/pages/2011-02-23-01.aspx

  11. When I had my PSU fail I was convinved it was a bad motherboard - I even went through the same process of speccing my upgrade to replace it! It started with blue screens and memory errors. I turned off overclocking and it was better for a while but it deteriorated and eventually would not start at all. Tried a PSU from another PC and it was rock solid, overclocking and all... PSU problems can be very strange - and they are also the easiest thing to try before replacing motherboard/CPU/memory so I would absolutely recommend it in your case.Cheers, Wayne Rudd
  12. Have you eliminated the Power Supply? I had exactly the same symptoms (started with blue screens, ended up not starting at all) and it ended up being the PSU...Cheers,Wayne Rudd
  13. unless of course you are using a force feedback joystick with FSForce installed....
