Di The system I had built that I gave my son was by Scan, they are an excellent company, I will call them tomorrow as they are closed now. I want to ensure that it will go into my system. I don't doubt your advice, I am not sure if they will be willing to offer advice re a different companies system1 I have just seen your location. I used to work at West Drayton, I am an Air Traffic Controller.

Di, Thanks, the file size was too big, hence it wouldn't upload. From what you said I have sufficient spaces. Once again thank you for the good advice.

Plenty of slots there. What's the max length of card you can fit? (measure from the rear plate to as far forward as a card could go in the case*

I wouldn't get a 6970. Get the 2GB 6950 if you can then google how to unlcok 6950 to 6970 or something and hey presto, you got a 6970!

6950 unlock? Don't tell me ATI locked a 6970 at slower clocks and called it a 6950

Just give it a Google. ATI do silly things and this was one of them. the 2GB 6950 is the same hardware as the 6970 just slightly slower which can be changed.
