Question on Flight One's Cessna 152

Featured Replies

HelloCan anyone tell me if this product has an autopilot included in the d/l? In the real world you would find few (if any) autopilots on any Cessna 150/152's, but I need one for virtual instructional use.ThanksEd

Hi Ed,I don't believe it has one. I looked in my version and didn't spot anything that looked even remotely autopilot related. Which, as you pointed out, is quite realistic.thanks,

I train in the real thing and it doesn't have an autopilot either... The Flight1 152 is right on the money when it comes to the avionics arrangement, so I would say it's very realistic. With little updates to the FDE I use it to train at home when I'm not flying in the real aircraft. It really works out well in keeping me up to speed with procedures I need to be on top of for the next lesson. Only problem I have with it is the default head placement in the VC. You can't see the cowling (at least I can't) over the instrument panel when sitting in the real bird. Adjust that and your good to go (at least as far as visuals is concerned)...

You can still use the native FS autopilot hotkeys. You'll have to look them up.

I noticed that all of the autopilot stuff is already in the aircraft.cfg for the 152, so you could probably edit the panel and stick the default autopilot in it.
