In some point I agree with you Geoff, but PMDG has "spoiled" their customers with good working 5:4 2D panels on some products (like MD11)... And thanks again for explanation about panel config! Most probably i wont take on it, due to lack of time. Only if they dont come up with ready solution will have to do it by myself.Have a nice weekend captains!

The whole creation of different aspect ratio 2D panels "could" be automated with a quite simple program. (1) Specify to the program the required aspect ratio.(2) Get the new size, and resize the background manually, or programatically from within the "program".(3) A program could read the Panel.cfg file, and edit the gauge parameters, to the new aspect ratio values. Then changing an existing 2D panel to a new aspect ratio, (For any aircraft) would only take a few minutes !! Just needs someone to write that "TOOL"
