Pushback

Featured Replies

What a great plane the 737NX is and I love all the things you can set up to configure the plane to your liking. The pushback feature with communication is a neat feature, where you get the option whether to be pushed straight back or left or right. So far so good. You also get the option to write how far you will be pushed back, but how do I know how far there is from the gate to the yellow taxiline? I hope you understand what I mean.

Overhead view helps, you can compare it to a known distance (ie... Fuselage length)

hmmm ok, I guess I will have to use that method, I just hoped there were a more precise way to push back.

I was also curious why there's a limit of 90 degrees on push back. There are plenty of situations where a plane will be pushed past the 90 degree mark. -Tim Latona

There's AES that will work every time... or FSCopilot, in which you can tell it to start the turn whenever you like it to. Hopefully, with SP1, we will see a better pushback module for the NGX.
