Old (shareware) panels and FS9?

Featured Replies

I know that it's possible to merge DF 737-400 panel withFFX aircraft in FS9, but can you use the PSS older panels in FS9as well (such as 747 and 777?) and how about older freeware panels made for fs2k2 and fs2000? do they work in FS9 as well by simplyputting the gauges in the gauges folder etc.?thanks for helping out!keep on flying..

I am 99% sure you cannot, but maybe someone has come up with a way.

it's just that i saw another postingasking for help to merge Meljet 747 with PSS 747panel in FS9 and i've also read about people puttingold panels straight into FS9 (don't remember if it worked :)

Many panels work just fine... you may have problems with the GPS and custom gauges.. but that will show up when you try it.. I personally find that the new panels are getting so much better that the old panels just don't do it anymore.. they were great in their day, but the "state of the art" has moved on..

Good topic. I'd be in heaven if someone would find a way to get the 767 PIC panel to work in FS2004. Can you imagine using that panel with the Posky 757?

I saw a thread yesterday about the 767 PIC panel in FS9 I think. Yeah, the poster said that he ran the vector gauges in an undocked window. Had a screen shot and everything. Unless my fine frosty brew is playing another trick on me! Do a search, you may get lucky.Let us know how it works out.:+

I would give anything for some mind tricks right now, especially when they are caused by frosty brew. Unfortunately the whole "perception" thing about drinking on the job....sometimes life just isn't fair.Later,Scott
