ILS Landing problem

Featured Replies

I have more trouble landing in Vegas than anywhere else.
Me too! And Phuket in Thailand and Sydney. All default scenery.

I think a lot of this stuff may be AFCAD issues.I tried to land in Vegas the other day.  Both diamonds were perfectly centered and the plane was descending, but the ball in the HUGS stayed at the far end of the runway.  I was on a perfect glide path for the buildings on the other end of the runway.I have more trouble landing in Vegas than anywhere else.  Orlando seems to do some strange stuff too sometimes.  Does anyone know any good Vegas add-on scenery?

Well try out the freeware ADE (Airport Design Editor) on those airports. It's a bit of a learning curve required but not as complex as the NGX Whistle.gif . You could easily check (and if necessary correct) the geographical glidepath settings. If you want to, you could take the actual airport maps and even implement all possible parking spots, correct taxi ways, signs and almost everything else.EDIT: I just looked for KLAS (Vegas) and it looks ok for me. However, ILS just works in one direction only for all runways. I enclosed a sreenshot.

Axel
