First, you are in the 737NG FS9 Legacy forum. If you have the NGX model that is in a separate forum. Where are you seeing the course change? Is it along with the ILS ident in the PFD? Is it indicator drift in the localizer indiction in the ND or PFD? When you are locked in to the localizer beam, the course setting on the MCP is not relavent. A localizer is not like a VOR but is a pair of narrow beams where they meet represents the intended inbound radial. It is still a good idea to set the course on the MCP for situational awareness. There is also a defect in both FS9 and FSX default scenery. By default, all LOC/ILS back courses are enabled. If the same frequency is used on the opposing ends of the runway, then until you are within a degree or two of the center beam you will be receiving the localizer for the wrong end. It is important that you check the localizer ident so you are not locking onto false returns. That sounds like the trouble you may be experiencing.

In the NGX options accessible through the CDU (FMC) there's an option that says something like "auto tune ILS CRS". Turn that off. As was mentioned, make sure NGX posts go in the NGX forum please, and be aware that PMDG may delete your post if your full name is not signed per their rules. (not playing moderator, just trying to be helpful since the sticky that says that is all the way down the bottom)
