Oh Baby, look what I just found.New site with some new screenshots of EGLL. Nice.http://www.heathrowpro.com/cheers,georgewww.bluesiliconsky.com

Really terrific scenery - Gary always does a great job. I'd love to have this but I fear that it will be too frame rate intensive for me.Bud

Nice! Will be interesting to see how the ground textures look from the cockpit. I personaly prefer the way OSS or FlyTampa are doing the ground but I definately will try it!Toby

I agree with Bud, I'll need a new CPU and video card to enjoy this baby!Andrew

Well, its out! Checking out the demo now.

GuysJust installed the demo and spent a while just taxiing around. Takes your breath away. The word awesome is much misused these days but it sure applies to this scenery. I know this airport quite well and it is very very close to the real thing. To test the frame rates, I used some really foul weather - torrents of rain and clouds, used a dusk setting so got the lights effects, I've got Ult Traffic at 100%, so lots of planes about. OK - parked at the gate, there was very little difference from the default I use, maybe one or two frames. Once on the move it was a different story. Parts of the airport seem more f/r intensive than others and I found that to get a smooth ride, I had to taxi in spot mode in some locations. Overall I was surprised; given the superb quality of the scenery, I would have expected more of a crawl. It's certainly worth giving it a try.I've a P4 2.8 machine with 1 gig RAM and a G'ward Ti4600. I also run in full screen with multiple monitors which tends to depress frames in all circumstances.Well done Gary.Bud

Nice to see the Chancellor gets his 17.50% on downloads from Europe now (from 1 July 2003) I bet we're all pleased for him!

Thanx for your continuing great work, Gary.Peter Sydney Australia

Downloaded the demo of this to test it out today....Bl00dy Hell...it's GOOD!!!! :) Amazing detail, I love the little trucks and vehicles that come to service the aircraft....and it runs well too...not TOO much of a hit on the fps over the original, which, I always liked, but this....it just looks so, er, alive!! I did delete the static aircraft .bgl to help smooth things out a little, plus, I don't like the way the static aircraft look....I use a mixture of FSTraffic and PAI with a dash of AI-Aardvark and FSP for AI and the statics stand-out like rows of very sore thumbs!! Apart from those though, this is, as the first poster claimed....Awesome!! I'm now off to Gary's website to make a payment for this little beauty!!I hope that other UK airports such as Gatwick, Birmingham, Liverpool etc, get a make-over of this class by Gary as I will certainly buy them too if he can do them :)
