I dont know if there is any email notification for the support page, but if there is, its not working for me. If there isnt, it would be a good addition as not everybody is checking this area frequently.

Please dont hijack this thread. Its not about getting emails due to updates, its about getting emails on support response in the support area.

Isnt that how it works? You submit a ticket, and they email you back I thought? Maybe I misunderstand your question, but I've never had to use the official support.

Not it isn't, The support is a bit like a private message system/mini forum. You write something and they write something back on the same page. I also expected an email notification and was surprised to see an answer to my question days later when I checked my submitted ticket. So, I agree. Email notification would be an excellent feature to stay on top of things, although I really hope that I don't need to bother the support anymore. ;)
