Loading Previous Flight State
You can do that by saving the flight on FSX. And then, that saved flight will appear in CDU(the name of the saved flight).1. On the CDU, go to PMDG Setup.2. Then, Startup State.3. Select the FSX saved flight desired(after you saved it on FSX). Selecting this option the NGX will load the way you left it. Hope it helps.

Morse Code LOC and DME
First of all, make sure you have the correct VOR Frequency(There are some VOR frequencies that are different from the real ones, check the FSX VOR frequency). And also make sure you are in the VOR range. Then press either the NAV 1 or NAV 2 button in the image. You have to wait a few seconds for the sounds to come.

ADF needles float
I tested the NGX in a NDB procedure again, now with the new hotfix, same results.

ADF needles float
It's not a misquote, that's for sure. I got the exact statement made by Paul Gollnick.

IRS align problem after HF4
You need to get either the APU or Ground Power ON.I can't explain more detailed, because i still don't have that knowledge. But you need more electrical power than just the battery.

ADF needles float
It would be nice if a PMDG member could talk about this subject more extensively. So that we can all understand about it a bit better.

Getting annoyed at this CTD.
Do you have the latest Hotfix 2987? If you do, that might be the issue. Some people have been experiencing CTDs only after this Hotfix, including myself. One of the solutions found, not might me, was to not leave the NGX as a default flight. Every time a load a flight, with the NGX as a default flight, there's a CTD. Every time i leave a default FSX airplane as a default flight, and then load the NGX, no CTD's for me, and many others. Hope it helps.

IRS countdown
Select HDG/ STS on the DSPL SEL of the IRS Panel and you will be able to see the countdown through the IRS Panel.

Hot fix applied!
I think that he meant to simply select the PMDG 737 NGX and load it. And then push ALT and select the PMDG 737 NGX via the menu again, loading the NGX again.

ADF needles float
I have done some NDB procedures with the default airplanes as well, obviously the ADF doesn't oscillate as much as the NGX ADF does.Still, i believe that if PMDG could do something about it they would have done it. They wouldn't want this important equipment to be this inaccurate. ADF is one of the basic requirements for IFR.

Hot fix applied!
Agreed. Although i don't see a FPS increase, it really does feel smoother.

This is absolutely ridiculous now. Hotfix related...

I submitted a ticket about this and this was Paul's answer. "This is actually an FSX issue in the way that the ADF behaves. Unfortunately not much we can do to settle it down." - Paul Gollnick, PMDG Team- 23SEP11 Update: SP1, Hotfixes and the 6700
A bit too cliche for me, buddy. Especially when we are talking about PMDG.Just try to trust a bit more on the PMDG team.- 23SEP11 Update: SP1, Hotfixes and the 6700
It's impressive how people like to complain without a reason. How can you possibly know that these is gonna cause any trouble at all?- extremly low FPS (very odd problem here)
This is system: - Processor: Intel Core i7-2630QM- RAM: 12GB 1333MHz DDR3- Graphics Card: Nvidia Geforce GTX 560M 3GB DDR5 DX11- HD: 750GB 7200 RPM My settings are attached. Keep in mind that even if it's a gaming laptop, it's still a laptop. Here is a quote from Ryan when i submitted a ticket asking for guidance to tweak FSX, that my help clarify some things."... laptop is never going to FSX as well as a good desktop system. Your CPU is locked at 2.0GHz - many people with desktop i7s are running them at more than twice that clock speed - some as high as 5.0GHz with the desktop Sandy Bridge i5/i7. CPU is the primary performance thing in FSX - the engine hardly uses the graphics card at all. The ******* tweaks above will help somewhat with that, but it's just a fact that the sim really likes a highly overclocked desktop i7 to be able to get high FPS, especially when running complex addons." I'm getting around 20-30 FPS, and it feels really smooth now after the tweaks. My settings. - ADF needles float
