Been enjoying the NGX for over a month now, and im almost ready to uninstall it and not use it again. Since yesterday, ive been trying to do a simple flight from YBBN to NZCH. Each time, I get a CTD. Addons:PMDG 737NGX 800WLOrbx FTX YBBN w/ AU GoldREX OverDriveENB Series (John Venema)SHADE Flight One:Not expecting any issues, was on the SID onto NZCH just passed FL120, and went to have a shower as it seemed as I was good till cruise to fix some stuff up, I pressed Q so the sound was off, go downstairs, come up and I have a fatal error. Flight Two:Few hours later, and I was hacked off. Changed views (via F11) and CTD. Flight Three:Was today, all was working, heading to RWY19, just got takeoff clearance and BOM! CTD. Flight Four, Five, Six:Was pushing back w/ engine start, and guess what, a CTD. Im probably going to hear back, its not the NGX. But, I have used this addons with other airliners for some time (CS 767, AS A320), aswell with GA addons and no issues. First problem occured over the water in the 2D panel.. NGX issue. I also cannot change settings in the FSX Menu (NOT a NGX issue), Aircraft + Airport no problem, just not settings, time/season and weather. Any help at all please? All were done between 11am and 5pm FSX time.

Have you tried the flight with ENB off ?Display driver version and settings would also help.I would delete your fsx cfg and let fsx rebuild a new one. Back up first so you can save any tweaks you may have.

Aidan, please add the info from the event viewer from the crash as well. That might give some clue about the faulting module. If you aren't sure how to do this, just google it up adding your win version to the search string.Very often these CTDs are caused by a/c non-related issues. For example - with MD11 I got lots of repeated crashes just because the airport I was approaching had not correct AFCAD (in that case ILS freq.) and when the FMC was trying to tune for ILS... it crashed to desktop!Good luck on solving the problem! ;)

i used to have a lot of very repeatable crashes with the md-11 on similar routes in that area one of which i used for testingin the end it was the orbx stuff combined with 4096 texture max loadwhen i set texture max load back to 2048 it would still crash but laterat 1024 it was 99% stable tho. i just leave it there now. i don't think it's a situation of the sim really overloading my computer but rather just some memory leak or wackiness with having so many hi-res things.. who knows. maybe yours is already set at this value if so sorry. i haven't tried going back to 4096 with the ngx because well everything is crash free and stable right now (i've had maybe 1 since it was released, and that was while i was goign 8x time accel over downtown seattle. also orbx stuff) anyway good luckcheers-andy crosby

ENB has been tried, same issue.

You are going to have to lower your settings a bit, turn off ENB, make sure water is not at a high setting, and turn down scenery compexity and the retry the same flight.

My autogen and scenery complexity is at normal,FPS unlimited,Water Low 2.xLOD Radius, Mesh 100%Mesh Res 2m Not over the top, an easy 25FPS for me?

Did you try without ENB?

If you can't change those settings within FSX itself (apart from the NGX), then there is something seriously wrong in your basic FSX installation. Though I'm not one to automatically suggest "reinstall" to correct software malfunctions, in this case I think a complete uninstall/reinstall of FSX is called for. Unless the core FSX engine is running properly in all respects, you can't expect an ultra-complex add-on like the NGX to function without problems.

I can change everything with FSX once it is loaded. All honestly, id rather just get rid of the add-on then go through 10+ hours installing everything again, which doesnt even gurantee it will fix it.

I had the g3d error until I cleared my virual memory. Do you kown if you vm is near full? I used perfect disk and it showed me mine was near 60%.

How can I check?
