Getting annoyed at this CTD.

Featured Replies

Do you have the latest Hotfix 2987? If you do, that might be the issue. Some people have been experiencing CTDs only after this Hotfix, including myself. One of the solutions found, not might me, was to not leave the NGX as a default flight. Every time a load a flight, with the NGX as a default flight, there's a CTD. Every time i leave a default FSX airplane as a default flight, and then load the NGX, no CTD's for me, and many others. Hope it helps.

Im still on the hotfix before, I have that .cfg issue, and havent gotten round to fixing it. My flights are defaulted at the ultralight at Friday Harbour.

Well after all that, go and grab the hotfix. It does smooth things out. Did you delete your fsx cfg and rebuild another one ?

Ill let you all know tomorrow when I try this flight again, but .cfg is renewed and build is updated.

I had the g3d error until I cleared my virual memory. Do you kown if you vm is near full? I used perfect disk and it showed me mine was near 60%.
Well i see this G3D.DLL as well and was a little curius about this. You said you you cleared up the VAS but how did you do that and why is 60% bad ?

I actually moved my virtual memory to a d drive and since the old area was unused I just ran a strong defrag that cleaned the area where the vn used to be. After I just assgined my vc back on my c drive. I can explain better when I get home. If you want more info pm me.

If it is not IFR conditions it is not fun.

I had te G3d.dll error and CTD at YBBN also. It is not an PMDG 737 NGX issue. Had it with various aircraft. I could solve it partly. I will look again and try to find the solution and post it.

Been enjoying the NGX for over a month now, and im almost ready to uninstall it and not use it again. Since yesterday, ive been trying to do a simple flight from YBBN to NZCH. Each time, I get a CTD. Addons:PMDG 737NGX 800WLOrbx FTX YBBN w/ AU GoldREX OverDriveENB Series (John Venema)SHADE Flight One:Not expecting any issues, was on the SID onto NZCH just passed FL120, and went to have a shower as it seemed as I was good till cruise to fix some stuff up, I pressed Q so the sound was off, go downstairs, come up and I have a fatal error. Flight Two:Few hours later, and I was hacked off. Changed views (via F11) and CTD. Flight Three:Was today, all was working, heading to RWY19, just got takeoff clearance and BOM! CTD. Flight Four, Five, Six:Was pushing back w/ engine start, and guess what, a CTD. Im probably going to hear back, its not the NGX. But, I have used this addons with other airliners for some time (CS 767, AS A320), aswell with GA addons and no issues. First problem occured over the water in the 2D panel.. NGX issue. I also cannot change settings in the FSX Menu (NOT a NGX issue), Aircraft + Airport no problem, just not settings, time/season and weather. Any help at all please? All were done between 11am and 5pm FSX time.
I found this solution on Orbx forums. It solved the problem for me. I had no G3d.dll errors any more. "Couple things here. I used to get g3d's at YBBN all the time, here how to solve them. 1. Flush Scenery Indexes (FTX Central; Attention my FS installation was about 350 GB, therefore flushing scenery indexes will take some time) 2.Find and disable Ozx in the SceneryLibrary (3 entries) 3.Turn off AI Traffic flying into or out of YBBN (YBBN options menu at your desktop, disable traffic). I dont know why but when I do these 3 things I dont get ANY CTD's."

Just did the exact same flight, just left the SID for YBBN. I renewed my cfg, only tweaks applied are TML and highmefix=1. I flushed orbx sceneries and disabled Ozx as suggested by Roland and im on the latest build. Cool :)

I reinstalled 737 NGX and the previous hot fix, seems to be back to normal or back where I was before.
