October 8, 201114 yr Author Hi After some days of holidays I am back to overclocking tests. I decided to go lower with the multiplier just for now and the system seems to be stable, even with just 5 hours of prime95.So, here are my specs for now:- bclk 100- multiplier 48 (49 will be the next step)- ram memory set to manual ddr3-1600 (it is stock memory)- PLL enabled- EPU power disabled- LLC ultrahigh- VRM set to manual 350- phase control and duty control (I don´t know what they are) set to extreme- cpu capability set to 130%- cpu voltage 1.450V- dram voltage 1.60000- cpu pll 1.70- vccio and pch voltage set to auto- hypertreading disabled- EIST and CPU C1E enabled- CPU C3 and C6 reports autoTemperatures with Real temp are going to a maximum of 71ºC and CPU-Z shows 1.440 to 1.448 of core voltage. Is this good? And to go to a multiplier of 49 what do I need to touch? Some more questions:1. I saw that it is recommended 1.38V of CPU voltage to sandy bridge processor, with a maximum of 1.42V. Many people have their processors running at 1.45, 1.48 or even 1.52... What is the right value?2. If you get a lot of BSODs one after one, you can have corrupted windows files. How do you know that and how do I know if I have to install windows again or not? I am running win7 64 bits ultimate.3. For bios updates can we always get back to default configuration and then turn it back again to the overclocked configuration we want?4. how do we need to run prime95? which options to choose for stress tests? I am running one test for some hours, but I don´t know if it is the correct one. One thing I know: temperatures are going high with all tests... harpsi
