When checking the route in PLN mode, the STEP> prompt at LSK 6R is present on the Captain's CDU (and also on the shift-3 popup). Yesterday I thought I'd try using the FO's CDU instead, and although everything else seemed OK, the STEP> prompt (and associated <CTR>) failed to appear when in PLN mode. Is this case on the real aircraft, or is it an NGX "feature"? Cheers, Brian

You need to have the FO's ND in PLN mode to get the step prompt.

Was the FO ND in plan mode or just the captains?

Works fine here. Make you that the FO ND is in Plan mode too. Eric B
