October 7, 201114 yr Due to me experimenting with raid 0, i have had to reinstall the NGX a few times, and have run out of activations, something as far as i am aware was not told about that it could happen, unless i missed something in the quick start guides and manuals, is there any way i could get this reset? October 7, 201114 yr Have you checked on PMDG's site, maybe there is an automated tool you could use to reset this yourself?I know other sites like Flight1 where you can re-activate product keys yourself by simply providing the details asked for like order nr etc...very convenient and will save time and hassle both for the customer and the company behind the product.

October 7, 201114 yr So are you saying there is a limit on the number of times you can reinstall your ngx on the same machine with same IP? Thats a little scary, whats the number? Did you use the uninstaller online first cus thats supposed to clear up your activation for reinstall.

If you reach the install limit pmdg will reset it for you. October 7, 201114 yr Due to me experimenting with raid 0 Never Run FSX with Motherboard Raid 0, while it will boot faster but your seriously degrading performance. I went this route against recommendations by people who knew more about this than me, and eventually went back to a using a single drive. If you have to use RAID-O your best off using a dedicated Raid Card with onboard memory. Or you can get a VelociRaptor or SSD Drive for a single drive setup. Paul Deemer

And should I use the uninstall app from pmdg misc download section, add/remove prog, or does it matter? which method do u know for a fact works? Thanks so much
