October 13, 201114 yr Hi,Is there anything I can do about the looping and annoying engine sound in the C182 RG? It seems a little better on approach and landing, but during climb and any cruise setting it loops to a "rum rum" sound that takes away from the realism. I have tried different mixture, prop, settings but other than a change in tone, the looping is still there. It's a shame because other than that, the plane is great. Thanks, Tom
October 13, 201114 yr I like this set: http://www.irissimulations.com/product-audio-l360.php Tom Constantine The Old Hangar http://mainescenery.proboards.com
October 13, 201114 yr I normally always replace the carenado sounds with Arezone sounds. Not just the engine sounds, you get much better ground roll sounds etc that make it a bit more immersive http://secure.simmarket.com/arezone-cessna-182q-skylane-ii-soundset-fs9x.phtml
October 17, 201114 yr These look interesting. I too really dislike the Carenado looping, especially when viewing from the Locked Spot at cruising. My concern though, is whether the two sets of sounds include the gear sound that is needed with the RG. I note that one set is simply the Lycoming engine, while the other set is for the 182Q (non-retractable). Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
