October 16, 201114 yr Hi All, I would greatly appreciate your support please. I've made some system changes; as in SP upgrades and the like, and somewhere along the way my FSX installation has been affected. I can still see all my addons but when loading most aircrafts I get blank gauges. This includes PMDG aircrafts and others too.. I dont wana go thru the pain of installing everything again. Please help. I've also tried deleting fsx.cfg and let it create a new one but that creates other problems! Any advice at this point will help.. Thanks a ton!

October 17, 201114 yr Author Hi,Unfortunately not all installers have the repair option. Any other advice mate? Thanks
October 17, 201114 yr Blank gauges can also be a sign of activation issues. Did you do anything to your system that would require reactivation of anything? Replace a hard drive or CPU? Anything like that? Did these system changes include a registry scan that might have killed some important entries? October 17, 201114 yr Try this program: http:// http://www.filetransfer.ro/5I4uke (will be there next 30 days)This utility will recover only default FSX gauges, for addon you must reinstall all addons and then make backup for all gauges for the next time. Some addons like ariane 737 or some wilco planes delete you gauges when you uninstall them, and this is the utility witch solve this problem. In your case i don't think you can recover addon gauges, only if you know a reason why they are missing - everything said above (MrKen post) Zeljko Budovic

October 17, 201114 yr Thanks for ur message mate. I had to recover Windows using the recovery option on the disc. I ve had the problem since after the recovery. cheersThat's it then. Best bet is to reinstall. Edit: I would try with just 1 or 2 addons first. If they work ok then you probably won't have to reinstall fsx.
