October 21, 201114 yr I bought this wonderful plane some days ago. It all looks really good. But now I've spend around 10 hours preparing, takeing off, installing und installing fsx and all included with it. Yet I've not yet finished a single flight!! I've noticed serveral problems with this aircraft. 1) When I am running it in fullscreen, and want to tab out to make a flight plan or similar, then sometimes when I get back in the game, then there is missing part of the graphics. It can either be the whole airport+plane+road texture, while other times I can't even get the alt menu up in the top. Alt+tabbing again can cause other things to work again and others to stop working until it in the end goes all black and there's nothing I can do. Here is a picture of the problem: note: why is it that I also have to press "enter" to get back in full screen? (if I just press the icon, then screen is black, but fsx will never show before I press "enter". 2) When then I successfully managed to get into the air, then after approx. 10 minutes of flying, then it all just freezes!! The sounds continues in an endless loop, but the only way to do anything about it is to open task manager and exit fsx. I tried this the only 2 times I got into the air with this plane. Informations: I am running windows 7Got 8 gb ramnvidia geforcer gtx 570 Also I am running fsx without any other addons of any kind! Anyone who can help me out? last thing is why can I not login to pmdg support? they require a login but when I say "forgot password" then my mail is not correct, though its that mail I purchased this addon from. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Phillip Hansen
October 21, 201114 yr FSX hates alt+tab. You would probably have better luck switching to widowed-mode and minimizing. (or getting used to running it windowed all the time) On the support login, did you register at the support page? Your support login is different from your shopping cart login. Regarding the freezes, are they full FSX freezes or only the panels? October 21, 201114 yr Author It's full fsx freezes.I've tried that NGX panels can freeze too, like the light of the autopilot stopped working. But the biggest issue is total FSX freeze.I have also tried minimizing, but anything that makes the screen "reload" might potentially make visual errors to me.
November 11, 201114 yr did other games runs normal ?i think this cold be an issue with your gtx 570 or nvidia driver Francisco Bermudez
November 11, 201114 yr Looks like an improperly installed 737 to me (whatever that looks like). You have a dark and blank virtual cockpit, the external view of the aircraft is sitting in front of you out the front windshield, and then clouds. It could also be a memory issue (more likely) whereas you're going into external mode then suddenly back to the cockpit and it's not rendering properly. In that case you might try reducing the sliders in the FSX.cfg and/or display driver settings.Best regards,JIm
November 11, 201114 yr Phillip!First of all.....never do ALT-TAB in FSX. Use ALT-ENTER and then minimize it when you come to Window mode. Also run Bojote´s tweaking and tuning tool so you get everything you need, in your CFG.http://www.venetubo.com/fsx.htmlAlso drop a copy of UiautomationCore.dll in you FSX Root. It has to be version 6.0.5840.16386 (32-bit) Also never let Antivirus or other program running when in FSX, with that I also mean Windows Update inautomatic mode. (Decide yourself if you wanna install a update or not)/ Leffe Leif A Mikkelsen **********************
