Hey! I just got a new computer, installed ngx and something is for the first time wrong! Does the latest downloads have all of the hot fixes in them? I change all of the settings they way i want but it always resets it when i restart fsx! I just did fresh install of ngx, entered the game, set c&d as default start up. restarted fsx and everything changed back :( Can't install liveries as well, program hangs it self. Please help. Regards, Rome.PS. The PC is up to date, FSX running with SP1 and 2. Windows 7 64 bit.

Don´t now why it hangs, but the latest HF4 has to be d/l here on this forum. The installer includes HF3Do a search for "Latest Hotfix"/ Leffe

Not saving settings etc. usually means that you have installed in the default directory and that you are not admin. In Win 7, the 'program files' directory is read only so you should install FSX somewherre else, such as c:\FSXYou should also install (and run) FSX as admin.

Sounds like you haven't set up Admin rights to your FS directory. What's happening is the program is writing the changes to a temporary location for that one time the sim is open, but when it runs again, the sim defaults to the normal settings location.
