Error with US Cities X Chicago?

Recommended Posts

I have never been near Chicago since installing GEX + UTX but after installing Chicago by Megacities, Lake Michigan appears 90% textured instead of water.Looks like thisillinoiserror.jpgUploaded with ImageShack.usAnyone seen anything like this before?Cheers.

Open all of your UTX interfaces and let them go through their usual initailize startup routine and see if that solves it.It always worked in the first days of FTX.

If that doesn't solve it, suggest you try turning off "UT Exclusions for Default Scenery" in the scenery.cfg(Found in C:\Program Data\Microsoft\FSX)Kind Regards

You should make sure Chicago X is higher than UTX in the sceenry configurator.

NO, don't follow this advice. Saying this is just silly and it could create even more problems. If people don't know, then they shouldn't suggest.

I believe that's actually a shot from Al Gores latest documentary...."The Effects of Global Warming on the worlds water supply".The only way to fix it is for us all to stop emitting exhaust, including breathing, unless we buy 'Mega Carbon Credis' from Al.:-)
