November 20, 201114 yr Since alot has changed since 2006 as far as the poles shifting, Fsx does not receive airac updates like the FMC's in complex add ons, what do I do as far as setting up for an ILS approach? Should I go off the course listed in FSX instead of the fmc or what? ~Spencer HoeferMOBO: Gigabye Aorus z590 elite | CPU: Intel i9-10900k | RAM: GSKILL RIPJAWS 32GB DDR4 3200 |GPU: Nvidia RTX 2080Ti 11GB| OS: Windows 10
November 20, 201114 yr Hi, here http://hsors.pagesperso-orange.fr/navaids.html you can find an update for the mag var table in FSX, obviously nothing happens to runways indicated QFU. If you want to have the correct indication write on the runway, you must manually edit the relative file with some utility.

November 20, 201114 yr Author Fly the approach normally, the only thing thats changed is the runway heading in the FMC's,That wont work for an ILS approach. The aircraft will fly a incorrect heading according to the runway position. So at this point I will update the mag table in fsx. ~Spencer HoeferMOBO: Gigabye Aorus z590 elite | CPU: Intel i9-10900k | RAM: GSKILL RIPJAWS 32GB DDR4 3200 |GPU: Nvidia RTX 2080Ti 11GB| OS: Windows 10

Your aircraft compass will see whatever is in the magdec.bgl file in fsx and "knows" nothing of airac. If the localizer deviation indicator is centered, you are on the proper approach track.scott s..
