November 23, 201114 yr Earlier you said, "It's doing it again." Does this mean you successfully ran WOAI without an "access denied" message at least once?If so, I wonder if you have a security program (like McAfee or Norton) that's causing problems?
November 23, 201114 yr Author I never successfully ran WOAI. I don't have any security programs. I think I only have that adminstraitor or something towerdude
November 23, 201114 yr Author It's not like I can't get on it. I still can just before it takes me to where it shows me what will be installed. towerdude
November 23, 201114 yr So you've done the following:1. Select the WOAI Package to Install: c:<your directory path>woa_aircanadajazz_v4.zip2. Target: Microsoft Flight Simulator X3. FSX path: C:Program Files (x86)Microsoft GamesMicrosoft Flight Simulator X4. FSX subfolder: SimObjectsAirplanes5. Next6. Check the box: "I Agree"7. Next8. InstallCombined with the earlier suggestions about "Run as administrator", it should work.Deleting and downloading the WOAI package again may not help, but you could try. I installed the package in its own folder (c:WOAI), NOT inside the Program Files (x86) directory.
November 24, 201114 yr Author The first seven things you listed were successfull. #8 wasn't. I pressed next but the message comes up before it shows me what airline is being installed. towerdude
November 24, 201114 yr I'm guessing your SimObjectsAirplanes folder is write protected for some reason. Johan Pettersen
November 25, 201114 yr Go to FSXSimObjects , rightclick Airplanes->Properties. Make sure that Read-Only is unchecked, click apply Johan Pettersen
November 25, 201114 yr Author I clicked apply then after it was done loading, I clicked ok then when I notice WOAI still not going, I checked the properties, the Read Only box was checked again. I don't understand whats happening. towerdude

I don't understand whats happening.Well, at least we know thats probably the problem, you do have FULL administrator rights to all priveliges, right?
November 26, 201114 yr Author I actually don't know if I have full adminstrator rights for ALL privilages. towerdude
November 26, 201114 yr Is there any chance that the directories or individual files below the SimObjectsAirplane directory level are Read/only?I'm not sure how or why this would happen, but you can quickly check by adding the "Attributes" column to your Explorer file details view (right-click in the column heading and check the attributes box). None should have an "R" designation.Edit: Oops, I didn't see the last few posts before submitting. I agree with Wendall that "that's probably the problem". But why?? Also, none of these folders or files should carry the "S" attribute that designates them as "system files".
