November 21, 201114 yr Has there been a fix to this in FSX? My WOAI planes all inbound flash exactly at the same time. There was a little program that changed the settings in FS9 for this which worked great but have yet to find any for FSX.Please excuse my ignorance on this, as I just installed FSX after years of sitting on the shelf due to me building my new rig to replace my 7 year old one.I tried using tips for FS9 with the strobe effects.fx file, but to no avail. Thanks guys and gals!JBFSX SP2FSUIPC4

November 22, 201114 yr There is also a very useful little tool called Flusifix that has many many options, one of which is to "randomise" beacon/strobe lighting in FSX and will solve your issue. It has a mass of different variables/fixes that can be altered in FSX but another gem within Flusifix is the ability to amend AI taxi speed - you can d/l from this link - the website is in German but two thirds of the way down on the right hand side is a link to d/l an english version (click on the Union Jack) that has instructions/read me in english.http://www.wolfgang-picheta.de/IMO, this program is an absolute must for FSX just for the strobe/beacon issue, and the ability to increase AI taxi speed alone - give it a try....i'm sure you won't be disappointed RegardsSteve
December 5, 201114 yr Author Thanks to both of you!I'm giving FlsiFix a shot as wow, what a simple interface in order to change some stuff that would require oodles of steps! I'll report back. Also changes traffic speeds on the fly too. Nice that it can then reset evrything to defaults, or come back in and then tweak the values some more! Thank you!
