Default tubeliner fixes

Featured Replies

I am enjoying (for the first time in a very long time) a tubeliner, the new version of the Captain Sim 767-300. It got me thinking about the years past when I started flying the big and simple default big birds. Has anyone fixed any of the shortcomings in the bugs and inaccuracies with the default FSX 747 or 737? It seems to me that a whole lot of things were broken with them including not being able to shut off the cockpit lights, inaccurate airfiles, and of course the non functioning systems. Did any of the more obvious ones get fixed or unofficially patched by any resident gurus?Kind regards,

Guess not...rolleyes.gif
Hi Stephen,Searched the library for Default Boeing and found these:737-800http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID=fsxgau&DLID=100475http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID=fsxmisc&DLID=156741747-400http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID=fsxpan&DLID=95218http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID=fsxmisc&DLID=156720YMMV. Only one I ever used was the panel fix, 100475, and it worked ok. Fixed a lot of stuff.

Come on Stephen... with as much money, time, and effort as you have put into FSX if your going to do a tubeliner for a change of pace do it right my friend, get yourself a quality payware bird!Even if your looking for a "light" commercial jet their are plenty to be had. QW757, the F-Lite versions from CLS, Captain Sim, Aerosoft A320 come to mind right off the bat. If you want a study or a more in depth you know where to look you've been at this awhile!I too swing from GA to Commercial and after a brief fix with Carenado's Skymaster I'm now been getting busy in the LHS Maddog an old time favorite...Heavy systems, Heavy frames, Heavy enjoyment!
